My wife pointed out a crack in the foundation of our home last summer. I didn't think much of it, but then a few days ago while it was nice out I was outside. They also said in order to get more information about it that I would need to make an appointment to get an estimate for the work that needs to be done. I went ahead and made an appointment to get it looked at.
At least then I will know what it will cost me to get it fixed. I also read somewhere that sometimes homeowners insurance will cover a portion of it. I am going to call my insurance company soon to ask them about it and see if that is true. Hopefully they do then the cost won't be as high for me.
